We chatted to « JB Born Bad » on the telephone before Born Bad Records’ 10th anniversary concert at the Festival Indigènes.
The label BORN BAD RECORDS was created in September 2006 by Jean-Baptiste Guillot. Operating in parallel with the well known Parisian record store of the same name in the quartier Bastille, it has been supporting the French contemporary rock and roll scene for 10 years. Known for its commitment to groups who want to do something different with this genre, the label also rereleases older works from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s by artists who have been left in time’s wake.
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the label, JB Born Bad has organised a « Tour de France » in concert, of which the Nantes-based installment happened to coincide with the Festival Indigènes at Stereolux.
